Learn how to safely administer medications to children in child care centers and family child care homes. This state-approved curriculum provides 6 clock hours in the MSDE Core of Knowledge: Health, Safety, and Nutrition and aligns with NAEYC standards for program accreditation. Topics covered include best practices and procedures for administering both over-the-counter and prescription medications in compliance with state child care licensing regulations. Instruction is delivered by qualified health professionals, and a Medication Administration handbook is provided during class. Core of Knowledge: 6 clock hours (HSN).

A minimum enrollment of 5 students is required for the class to proceed, with a maximum of 15 students. All classes are non-refundable.
